In order to locate a wireless hotspot, you must power on your mobile device and select the wireless connection option. If there is a wireless signal in the area, it states exactly the name of the network and how strong the signal is. If you select the signal and type in any necessary password, your mobile device automatically connects to the wireless hotspot.

Of course, it is not always possible to be hear a wireless hotspot, which is why many mobile devices are now able to create their own. If you power on the equipment, such as a mobile phone or tablet that uses a wireless network, you are often able to create a hotspot for your other devices. As long as you have a 3G or 4G connection on the device (it states this on the top of the product’s screen), you are able to create the hotspot. Select the Create Hotspot option in the main menu of the product, then wait for the device to state the hotspot has been created. With the new mobile hotspot created, you can power on your laptop or other mobile device, select the wireless connection feature, then choose the new hotspot to connect.
